I am doing my best to learn, however every forum and free scan seems to be pushed by the companies trying to sell you their kits.
I don't have a problem with spending some money, but there is no clear way here without you folks who have already blazed the trail helping out.

I know I have registry key issues, one free scan produced an alleged 845 errors in my registry keys along with the following malware:
Registry Values:
CWS. Oslogo
IBIS/Hunt Toolbar
ISTBar

and 1 File in c:\WINDOWS\PLAYER.EXE
Backdoor GrayBird BST Trojan

I am eager to learn whether I really have these problems, how to manually repair the situations, and is there any registry key fixers that actually work?

Thank you for your time, and at your convenience
