Help please i have no access?

My laptop has been running so slow and its getting worse - i now start it up and the screen stays blank for 3 minutes before it starets to boot up! Then it takes 10 minutes to start up - i disabled all the start ups for messenger etc.. I then ran adaware and found about 160 crtical objects.. I deleted these and its still mega slow and it refuses to now connect to the internet - I was running a film through the television using my laptop yesterday - the film skipped constantly and every other one i tried did - when the film was over i realised it has disconnected from the internet and when i try to repair the connection it will not! Im at work at the mo and my laptop is at home so i cant do anything when i have it because i cant get online - The mac is connected to the net at home so its not the provider it my dumb laptop which is slower than a weed smoking snail! please help... :wacko:
