Hello, I am new to all of this so please be patient with me and I hope you can help:-)
About a week ago I noticed avg antivirus caught 2 trojens and I deleted them from the vault. They were in a webroot washer dll and BASSMOD DLL.
I decided to go into safe mode and run my scans with avg anti virus and superantispywear. Both showed no problem. Just to be sure, once I rebooted I went to housecall and then panda scan and both showed I have Mywebsearch and or funwebproducts and memwatcher. I have read a little and people seem to say mywebsearch is in the browser but its not in mine and its not in add/remove progs and I can't see anything in prog files either??? I've done safemode scans and reboots and go to housecall and panda and they are still there and my protection can't seem to find it or delete it??? I hear they are both pretty nasty. I don't know anything about registry editing or fixing, so I really hope you can help me. I've tried to add things like BHODemon and Spyware Guard but not sure if that is helping.
I have Avgantivirus free, comodo firewal freel, BHODemon free, Avg Antispyware free, Ad Aware free and Superantispyware free.
I thought that was great protection??? :blush:
