VBScript not installed?!

Hello Everyone…

I just created a VBScript file. I run the script and it says VBScript engine not found.
Tried registering VBSCRIPT.DLL using REGSVR32, and I received this message:

DllRegisterServer in VBSCRIPT.DLL failed.
Return code was: 0x80004005.

I've tried reinstalling the Windows Script Engine, and it failed upon rebooting.

Anyone know how to fix this problem?

You've tried downloading and installing the following?
Download details: Windows Script 5.6 for Windows XP and Windows 2000

If you have, try using Dial-a-fix to resolve the permissions issue. Follow the instructions in the following section:
