my names Devvi and is curious to know something n what to do about it. What is that -points to below underline subject- its in my add n remove bit.. is new to computers and still figuring out this one.. if any one can help please help this one who is troubled by this
The item Adssite Browser Optimizer is known to contain or be bundled with malware that can infect your machine.
It is recommended that you Uninstall Adssite Browser Optimizer via Control Panel - Add/remove, or use the uninstall function located at: C:\WINDOWS\system32\adssite-remove.exe
Since you find it installed on your machine, it may already have begun its dirty work.
You may benefit from using a good antivirus, a couple of antispyware utilities, and an online scan.
Use the security products that you may already have installed on your machine, if you are confident of them.

It is an entry that is considered bad for those reasons, and therefore I recommend you remove it.
Are you experiencing any symptoms of an infection? If so, there may be more to do to clean your computer, feel free to post a HijackThis log in the Malware Removal Forum.

thank you for responding so quick.. I did try to remove it from the add/removal panel but asked me for a code.. i have no idea on what it ment by for a code to uninstall it
hey Doug, I followed your advice and go to the C:\WINDOWS\system32\adssite-remove.exe and it asked me for the code on the the small grey pop, i typed it in and the .exe has gone is about to check in my add/remove panel to see if it has gone
