Hey all, I have come to a huge question, and id like for your opinions upon which is better. Option A Nvidia 8800GTS 320MB card + Current Specs Option B AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ Brisbane, 2GB DDR2 800 RAM, ECS NFORCE4 Motherboard and EVGA 7600GS Please note, the 7600 would only be a temporary graphics card till Christmas and id upgrade to a 8800.
Hello CALM,

And welcome to WTT Forums.
I read your other post in which Ax238 has responded to your question about templates.
Now with your question about machine upgrade, it looks like your computing may be evolving on the move.
Thanks for deciding to make WTT Forums one of your resources.

I hope you do post your "current specs", because unfortunately there is no way to intelligently reply to your question.

You can certainly describe your system manually, but may benefit from an automated shortcut or two.
such as the following
You could Run Everest 2.20
http://majorgeeks.com/download4181.html
You can copy/paste or use "attach file" to post the Computer Summary which will give most of the needed specs.

You could Run the PCPitstop Full Tests and post a TechExpress Link (takes about 2-3 minutes for most machines.)
http://www.pcpitstop.com
this will give an excellent overview of your machine specs, plus dynamic information about machine function.

Just a "heads-up" about the links in your signature line.
Your links are just fine, because the linked page is informational and free of sales promotion.
We do allow linked lines in Member signature as long as it is not to a rival site, a warez or dangerous site, a commercial promotion (spam), and as long as the Member has a primary forum related interest or ownership in the site information that is linked.

However the "actual link inserts" that you have used are misleading:

Parental control software free parental control software

The first link is broken.
The second link does not go to "parental control" information, but rather to an interesting discussion of various loan and financing information. <– the "information" was an interesting read, and it had no advertising or sales promotion, so it is just fine……… except you may want to clean up the link that is broken, and re-script the second link such that readers will be able to accurately anticipate the type of information they will be linked to.
Probably an "oversight or mistake" on your part as you typed in the information, but if you are having difficulty with the "My Controls", "Edit Signature", etc. board function, please just let me know so I can assist if needed.

A simple text link to a personal site is okay, as long as it meets our normal family friendly, and safe surfing guidelines. You must own or be closely associated with the site. No banners, referral links, etc.

You can read the full text of Forum Rules in Terms of Use, clickable from the top of any Forum page, or use this link:

Again, Welcome to WTT Forums.

Best Regards,
Doug
