Hi. Actually, I have 3 hard drives. The first is split C and D(C is recovery, D is boot). F and G ar emy external harddrives and I don't understand why it says system restore on drive F. This all occurred after the virus. It was Vundo but I believe it must have been more than just that one. I have been seeing folders in scans that I did not put here and also some of the files are password protected. I am really stumped here.
Open a command window by going to Start > Run and typing: cmd
Copy/paste or type the following in the command window: C:\fsbl.exe /expert
Hit "Enter" to start the program and then close the cmd box.
Accept the user agreement and click "Next".
Click "Scan".
After the scan is complete, click "Next", then "Exit".
BlackLight will create a log in C:\ drive named "fsbl-xxxxxxx.log" (the xxxxxxx will be the date and time of the scan).
The log will have a list of all items found. Do not choose to rename any yet! I want to see the log first because legitimate items can also be present…like "wbemtest.exe" and "tcptest.exe.
Exit Blacklight and post the contents of the log in your next reply.
Once you are on the Panda site click the Scan your PC button
A new window will open…click the Check Now button
Enter your Country
Enter your State/Province
Enter your e-mail address and click send
Select either Home User or Company
Click the big Scan Now button
If it wants to install an ActiveX component allow it
It will start downloading the files it requires for the scan (Note: It may take a couple of minutes)
When download is complete, click on My Computer to start the scan
When the scan completes, if anything malicious is detected, click the See Report button, then Save Report and save it to a convenient location. Post the contents of the ActiveScan report
Please post the logs from:
1) F-Secure BlackLight
2) Panda scan
3) New HijackThis log

Please do the scan with Panda and ignore what your virusprotection says.
