today i got a trojan and have spent the past 12 hours using online virus scanners because it installed viruses that broke the ones i had installed.

I just deleted a rootkit and 5 viruses, my computer doesn't seem to be connecting to hundreds of computers anymore, but there is still something on it thats stopping me installing antivirus software.

as soon as i install spybot the .exe deletes itself, same with ewido and other antivirus.

finally managed to fix it It is a new virus called bagle.xr and it came out in september 2007 inserts itself into random programs you set to start on startup with itself(its icon is a set of keys) to reinstall itsself with. owns these items: system32/drivers/srosa.sys system32/drivers/hidr.exe appliation data/m/ downloads randomly numbered exes to WINDOWS\exefld WINDOWS\system32\wintems.exe stops you starting up in safe mode(have to repair it) installs a rootkit infected process deletes antivirus software when installed, may be hard to know what it is since it may have replaced a program you think is legit. according to combofix it installs something called german.exe too managed to get AVG antivirus to install after forcing the infected files processes to quit including hidr.exe it also trys to infect windows diskchecker and ntkrnlpa.exe

Download F-Secure Blacklight and save it to your desktop -> https://europe.f-sec...light/try.shtml

Doubleclick fsbl.exe, accept the agreement, click Scan, then click Next

You'll see a list what have been found. A log will appear to your desktop, it is named fsbl.xxxxxxx.log (xxxxxxx will be random numbers).

DON'T choose Rename if something was found!

Post the contents of fsbl.xxxx.log to here (xxxx= random numbers,blacklight log from your desktop)
