Hi,

I am assisting my technophobe neighbour remove an adware.agent.bn from her PC.

We have disconnected her notebook from the internet and are using a separate PC for all internet connectivity. After looking through the net, we downloaded and used spyware doctor, which cleaned up a whole lot of the virus (and more!) yet after restarting, there are still popups coming up and the PC is still infected.

The PC runs norton antivirus and this adware bpassed this program completley.

I have seen other entries on this site assisting someone with the same issue and would like to get assistance (am not sure which instructions i should use).

Please could you assist in getting this removed correctly and completly.

regards

Dino

I have the hijack file to add to this post and am desparate to get this resolved (formating is an option too, yet am trying to avoid this action) help!!
