Such as Adware.agent.BN and more i dont kow i got this but i tred many Apyware programs and got part of all the spyware but none have seemed to work in removing adware.agen.bn . Is not visible anyware but in a warning from spydoctor blocking it. And the realy bad thing is that is taking me like forever to see the desktop when I reboot. And my computer is mega slow!

Hi hvmdraft,

Download SmitfraudFix (by S!Ri) to your Desktop.
http://siri.urz.free.fr/Fix/SmitfraudFix.exe

Double-click SmitfraudFix.exe
Select option #1 - Search by typing 1 and press Enter
This program will scan large amounts of files on your computer for known patterns so please be patient while it works. When it is done, the results of the scan will be displayed and it will create a log named rapport.txt in the root of your drive, eg: Local Disk C: or partition where your operating system is installed.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT run any other options until you are asked to do so!

If the tool fails to launch from the Desktop, please move SmitfraudFix.exe directly to the root of the system drive (usually C: ), and launch from there.

Note: process.exe is detected by some antivirus programs as a "RiskTool"; it is not a virus, but a program used to stop system processes. Antivirus programs cannot distinguish between "good" and "malicious" use of such programs, therefore they may alert the user. Further info is available here.

Please download and install the latest version of HijackThis from here:
http://downloads.malwareremoval.com/HJTInstall.exe

Once you have downloaded the new installer, please delete the old HijackThis program file.
Then run the new version's installer HJTInstall.exe and follow the prompts.
After installing, HijackThis will open automatically
When it opens, select Open the Misc Tools section
Press the Open Uninstall Manager… button, then press Save list…
Save the Uninstall log to your Desktop and include a copy in your next response.
Now press Back and Scan and then Save log to create and save a new HijackThis log.

Once complete, please post the SmitfraudFix report, the uninstall list and a new HijackThis log.

Hi hvmdraft,

Please open Start->Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs, look down the list for this and remove it:

Java 2 Runtime Environment, SE v1.4.2

This is out of date and now a security risk, you can get the latest update (version 6 update 2) from here

Spybot - Search & Destroy is an excellent program however your version is now out of date, the latest version 1.5 is available from here:
http://www.safer-networking.org/en/mirrors/index.html

Temporarily disable Windows Defender:
Right-click on the Windows Defender icon in the system tray (the grey castle), select Exit and OK the prompt. Windows Defender will automatically start next time you reboot.

Temporarily disable Spyware Doctor
Open Spyware Doctor, click the OnGuard button on the left side, press Click to deactivate OnGuard and OK the prompt
OnGuard will now be deactivated for 15 minutes, either complete the HijackThis instructions within that time or repeat this procedure

Then, open HijackThis, choose Do a system scan only and place a checkmark next to this line:

R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - - (no file)

You have several domains listed in your Internet Explorer Trusted Zone. These aren't malicious websites, however the security settings which apply to websites that are in the Trusted Zone are much more permissive than normal, so sites should only be added if they are trusted and if it is necessary. If you need to keep these domains in your Trusted Zone so that they function normally then leave them in place, if not then please remove them as appropriate by checking the relevant lines:

O15 - Trusted Zone: http://cgi.ebay.com
O15 - Trusted Zone: http://payments.ebay.com
O15 - Trusted Zone: http://www.ebay.com
O15 - Trusted Zone: http://www.google.com.pr
O15 - Trusted Zone: http://*.santandernet.com
O15 - Trusted Zone: http://*.teamswift.net

Then close all open windows apart from HijackThis, press Fix checked, OK the prompt and close HijackThis.

Next click Start->Run and type cleanmgr in the box and press OK
Ensure the boxes for Recycle Bin, Temporary Files and Temporary Internet Files are checked, you can choose to check other boxes if you wish but they are not required.
Press OK and Yes to confirm

Now reboot your computer.

Then, please do an online scan with Kaspersky:

Open Kaspersky Online Scanner in Internet Explorer

You will be prompted to install an ActiveX component from Kaspersky,
Click Yes.
  • The program will launch and then begin downloading the latest definition files:
  • Once the files have been downloaded click on NEXT and then Scan Settings
  • In the scan settings make that the following are selected:
    • Scan using the following Anti-Virus database:
    Extended (if available otherwise Standard)
    • Scan Options:
    Scan Archives
    Scan Mail Bases
  • Click OK
  • Now under select a target to scan:Select My Computer
  • The program will start to scan your system.
  • Once the scan is complete, click on the Save as Text button and save the file to your desktop
Note for Internet Explorer 7 users: If at any time you have trouble with the accept button of the license, click on the Zoom tool located at the right bottom of the IE window and set the zoom to 75 %. Once the license is accepted, reset to 100%.

Once complete, please post the Kaspersky report and a new HijackThis log.
Also, tell me how your computer is behaving at the moment.
ok scanning, all ready Kaspersky Online Scanner has found some virus on my computer. What should I do? Post the report and then?
Hi hvmdraft, I can't tell you the next steps until I've seen the report. Please post it and we'll continue. If it's a long report, please check that it is complete and use multiple posts if necessary.

Hi hvmdraft, There is nothing to worry about in the Kaspersky log, it found the following: SmitfraudFix - this tool is sometimes detected as a "potentially unwanted program" but safe and we will delete it shortly. CrossLoop - screen sharing software - only a concern if you weren't aware that it was there System Restore - which we will clean shortly. Otherwise things look pretty good, how is your machine running now?
My machine is running will say 90% ok. The only problem is that is taking some time to load new windows or to start some programs. But not alerts, pops or anything. Beside that nothing more. But what about the virus found on the scan? H
Hi hvmdraft,

As I've posted above, it looks like there is no malware on your computer apart from old, infected System Restore points, and we'll try to clean those.

First however, please delete SmitfraudFix.exe and this folder:
C:\SmitfraudFix

Then empty your recycle bin.

Next: what happens when you try to use System Restore?
Please follow these instructions and if something doesn't work, then stop and tell me exactly what happened:

Create a new, clean System Restore point which you can use in case of future system problems:
Press Start->All Programs->Accessories->System Tools->System Restore
Select Create a restore point, then Next, type a name like All Clean then press the Create button and once it's done press Close

Now remove old, infected System Restore points:
Next click Start->Run and type cleanmgr in the box and press OK
Ensure the boxes for Temporary Files and Temporary Internet Files are checked, you can choose to check other boxes if you wish but they are not required.
Select the More Options tab, under System Restore press Clean up… and say Yes to the prompt
Press OK and Yes to confirm

Once complete, please tell me if you were able to follow the instructions OK, if not then what happened in detail.
