Hi, sorry to hear of the problems with your machine,
have you checked your TCP/IP properties in network connections?
These are usually set to:
"obtain IP address automatically"
and also:
" obtain Dns server automatically"
if these are Ok
check that your 2 way software firewall is allowing access
