No better, no worse on the way it's running. As for the AV issues, I gave up. I don't want to even buy anymore programs, because at this point I'm afraid it won't let me install anything. I can't even have a firewall because of the stupid EZ carp**.

Sorry for the little delay here…I've been away this past weekend. I will look into this EZ AV a little more when I get home from work tonight and get back to you. It could be causing many if not most of the issues you are still having.

OMG! It worked. And Panda is officially dl-ed on my computer. TY SO MUCH. Now that I can finally have a firewall etc, I won't have as many d*mn problems as I've been. Geez and to think it was such a simple solution. You'd laugh your A** off if you knew the hours-literally-I spent trying to figure out how to make it go away lol Sorry I didn't respond. Usally I get an e-mail saying that you did and I didnt this time, so I didn't think to check

No I wouldn't laugh too hard…I spent a little time researching to find that fix myself. Google sometimes can be your best friend. Glad we got that worked out. :thumbup: After you get everything the way you want and running right (hopefully) post another HJT log for review. I'm still curious as to how that other carp** sneaked in there while we were doing the fix here. Hopefully no more once your protected.

Is there anything else u see that may conflict with Panda that I need to take out? Because I know that certain AV programs can cause your comp to slow way down. And I have dl-ed a few before EZ tho I can't remember what and when. They may be long gone by now.

Now that you are clean, please follow these simple steps in order to keep your computer clean and secure:

Reset and Re-enable your System Restore to remove infected files that have been backed up by Windows. The files in System Restore are protected to prevent any programs changing those files. This is the only way to clean these files: (You will lose all previous restore points which may be infected anyway).

Click Start>Help and Support>Undo changes to your computer with System Restore
Select Create A Restore Point then click Next. Give it a name it and then click Create

Click Start>Run and type Cleanmgr
Click the More Options Tab.
Click Clean Up in the System Restore section.

In addition to updating and using what you currently have you may want to consider the following:

Install Ad-Aware - Ad-Aware SE You should also scan your computer with program on a regular basis just as you would an antivirus software in conjunction with Spybot.

Install SpywareBlaster - SpywareBlaster will added a large list of programs and sites into your Internet Explorer settings that will protect you from running and downloading known malicious programs.

Install SpywareGuard - SpywareGuard provides a real-time protection solution against spyware that is a great addition to SpywareBlaster's protection method.

Use IESpy-Ad
IESpy-Ad will block access to malicious websites so you cannot be redirected to them from an infected site or email. Instructions for set up and use can be found at the website.

Update all of your Anti-Malware programs regularly - Make sure you update all the programs I have listed and the ones you are currently running regularly. Without regular updates you Will Not be protected when new malicious programs are released.
