[Closed]Dell Inspiron B120 Laptop

My friend has a Dell Inspiron B120 notebook that has some issues atm. I found WinAntivirus Pro (uwa7pcw.exe) on her computer, about 20 trojans (AVG found them), and adware programs. When i uninstalled Win Antivirus Pro using Add/Remove programs I got a "blue screen."

I ran more scans today and AVG Anti-virus found Spydoctor and Winfixer. AVG Antivirus found some more trojans (Trojan Horse SHeur.ZQ was one of them). Some of the popups I am getting are:

Good afternoon.

ComboFix by sUBs
  • Download this file - ComboFix.exe
  • Close all open windows.
  • Double click ComboFix.exe and follow the prompts.
  • When finished, it will produce a log for you. Please post that log in your next reply
Important: Do not mouseclick ComboFix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall

If necessary, please split the log into separate posts to ensure that they don't get cut off. It is important that I see the full log.

Note: ComboFix may reset a number of Internet Explorer's settings, including making it the default browser.

I posted at the other forum first, but didn't get a reply till just today. I posted on this forum because this is the site i got the Hijackthis program from. I don't have this laptop anymore as she wanted it back today (she's impatient, guess she can deal with it herself lol). I was able to remove the majority of the problems, all except DriveCleaner, which spybot quarantined. Thanks for your help!

Your friend had more than "some issues". Even if you ran ComboFix, I doubt that you have removed the majority of the problems. The Vundo infection can be very persistant and there were other problems. However, it's your/her choice. I spent quite a bit of time researching the HijackThis log, which I could have spent helping someone else.
