[Resolved]Computer Keeps Crashing

Yesterday my DH clicked on a link in an email and the computer started running slow and not normal.

I did a trend micro PC-cillan scan and deleted a xml-hack.ao file and installed the correct patch from apple to stupposedly fix the virus.

The computer still hasnt been running properly

it keeps crashing (appx 10 times today) sending me to a blue screen with this text roughly :

"A problem has been detected and the computer has been shut down blah blah blah to protect it" or something to tah effect (i couldnt copy and paste it

under that it would say:

"page_fault_in_nonpage_area"

then a generic help

and then

"technical info ***stop: 0x00000050 (0xe7375000, 0x00000000, 0x8053h02f, 0x00000001)

i did the spybot earlier today and adaware (i also re did both per the instructions here with the proper restart etc)

i also have done the avg scan and the hijack this scan…log files below

I think that i have done everything i was supposed to.

It hasnt crashed like it was, but i keep getting the Trend Micro PCcillian pop up that blocks this –> ADW-DRIVECLEAN.N and TROJ_NUWAR.DAM
and others, but it says it blocked it and wants to know if it shoudl stop internet traffic. I am fairly certain that there is some kind of adware/spyware on my computer that i can get rid of tho. It has been working ok, but is slower when i am runnig the internet than it should be

Also, i dont know if this is related or not, but whenever i transfer pictures from my digital camera to my computer, i always have to restart the computer. It will transfer the pictures fine, but after the download, the computer wont open anything (internet, other programs etc)

My apologies, I must have missed the e-mail.

Please go HERE to run PandaActiveScan…
Once you are on the Panda site click the Scan your PC button
A new window will open…click the Check Now button
Enter your Country
Enter your State/Province
Enter your e-mail address and click send
Select either Home User or Company
Click the big Scan Now button
If it wants to install an ActiveX component allow it
It will start downloading the files it requires for the scan (Note: It may take a couple of minutes)
When download is complete, click on My Computer to start the scan
When the scan completes, if anything malicious is detected, click the See Report button, then Save Report and save it to your desktop.

Post that log and a new HijackThis log in your next reply.

hello shoefairy Im afraid this isnt a malware issue. You are clean. I suggest starting a new thread in the "Other computer Problems" room, as hardware problems are beyond my knowledge. I wish you luck.
