Apparently got a program (or two) "working in background". Went to task manager with no applications running. Checked processes, and found cpu usage monitor fluxuating like crazy. One process: rundll32.exe, floating and jumping all over the place. It will not let me end the process. I ended the process tree, but it didnt do anything. Also tried ending the process explorer.exe , then putting it back in, did nothing. After a while (after startup at least) it seems to settle down and goes back to normal. Occasionally it will start back up randomly though and screw everthing I was working on up. I ran a HijackthisScan. Did not know what to check, so I left alone. I saved it and is available if needed. Please let me know. I have a Compaq Presario notebook, with Windows XP. Here's hoping someone can help. Thanks in advance.
