My problems started back when I went to shutdown my computer a few months ago and there on the screen it showed that there was an microsoft update to install. I let it install and shutdown afterwards. I got up the next morning and windows wouldnt load. I rebooted and still nothing. I started getting blue screens stating that I had IRQL not less or equal to, PFN list corrupt, and a few other errors. I tried to download AVG anti-virus and got that the file was corrupt and couldn't install. I have tried several other programs and even microsoft updates won't install on my computer now. I did manage to get Spybot S&D but a screen popped up stating that the program had been rewritten and it doesnt do that and I should check for viruses. It did show that I had PWS. LinchIE trojan plus a few backdoor viruses and keyloggers. Spybot fixed all but the trojan. I had to do that one manually. My concern is that I havent found the real problem and that there is still malware on my computer. I would appreciate any help you can give me.

Hello and welcome to the forums

Download ComboFix from Here or Here to your Desktop.
  • Double click combofix.exe and follow the prompts.
  • When finished, it shall produce a log for you, combofix.txt.Post that log and a HiJackthis log in your next reply
Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window while its running. That may cause it to stall

I tried to use the combofix program and when it tried to install the error message install files corrupt popped up and then a box popped up with the list of files that would not load. I tried both running it and saving it and neither option worked. They both had the same result of the installation files being corrupt. the files in the error message are:

I don't see any anti-virus or firewall running. Do you have Windows Firewall active?

Get this free AVG I use.
Click HERE and Save, Install, Update and run a full scan.


Empty Recycle Bin

Reboot and "copy/paste" a new log file into this thread.
Also please describe how your computer behaves at the moment
