Hi,

Your message at my submission channel:

I think NORTON is not opereting corectly.
When I do a google search another search engine goes on which dosen't search anything.
Exuse my english. Thanks for your replay.

Thanks for the file. Not recognised by any scanner, but certainly bad... and I guess it's the cause of your search redirections.

So, open HijackThis, click scan and check next entries:

R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page = \blank.htm
R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page =
O2 - BHO: Test1 - {F6D0B818-7304-453E-A410-1BF98F3A658D} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\atl231.dll

Click Fix checked below.

Then reboot your computer.
After reboot, navigate to and delete next file if still present:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\atl231.dll

Post a new HijackThislog in your next reply.
Also let me know why you suspect that your Norton is not working properly...

Yes, now I am sure it's the cause of your problem. After investigating the file, it does indeed Hijack Google and Yahoo searches and the links go to watchfreegallerys.info

After you fix that entry in HijackThis, the file will be gone.. so you won't find it anymore since HijackThis could delete it easily. So don't bother to search for the file afterwards as I instructed :)

Also do next please..

Open notepad and copy and paste next present in the quotebox below in it:
(don't forget to copy and paste REGEDIT4)

REGEDIT4

[-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AppID\ATL1.DLL]

[-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ATL1.test1]

[-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ATL1.test1.1]

[-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{F6D0B818-7304-453E-A410-1BF98F3A658D}]

[-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Interface\{A087DE96-1D11-4AA3-995F-171D2E70CBDA}]

[-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{B0A71B8A-D5D0-4B9E-825C-62E973395F1E}]

Save this as fix.reg Choose to save as *all files and place it on your desktop.
It should look like this: Posted Image
Doubleclick on it and when it asks you if you want to merge the contents to the registry, click yes/ok.
(In case you are unsure how to create a reg file, take a look here with screenshots.)

Sorry for my late replay I had two days off from my work.
So this is my new log file.
Also for my NORTON when I restart I get the following message
from windows security center that my norton is of and that I'm in
risk, but this is only for few seconds.
When I usually make a full system scan it was scanning about 170000 files,
know it's only scans up to 15000 files.
Thanks again!!!

Hi,

Your log looks clean again..

Also for my NORTON when I restart I get the following message
from windows security center that my norton is of and that I'm in
risk, but this is only for few seconds.

I don't think that there's anything wrong with your Norton. It just appears that Norton loads pretty late at startup and that's why Windows Security center displays an alert at startup. As you said, this is only for a few seconds and then the message disappears - this because your Norton is fully loaded now and Windows security Center recognises it.
I don't know why your Norton scans less files now -- maybe because there are less files now as well? Maybe you flushed your system restore points, deleted junk (cleaned temp folders/file/internet cache etc)..
Anyway, you don't have to worry here.
If you feel that you cannot trust Norton (as it appears the case here), why don't you try another Antivirus instead? Look in my signature below for other Alternatives, where you can also find free ones. For example Avira is a great Free Antivirus. The premium version also detects spyware/adware. (but that version isn't free).

Anyway, the main reason why you were here is because your Google search results were redirecting - is this solved now? It should be though...
