Ok, so it's clear there's something wrong because a PC with that spec should be easilly running
files like that.

Do you have the k-lite codes?? I recommend you google 'K-Lite Codec' and install the free pack.

I think this might make the difference. If you have any codecs installed at the moment, uninstall them now.
