Hiya, so I'm having all sorts of adware and popup issues after having none for years.

My Windows Security system is telling me I've got Deskwizz, but can't seem to fix it. I use firefox but it's popping up IE windows ads every few minutes. I'm also having all sorts of trouble getting programs that normally work to even load suddenly. Any help you could provide would be extremely helpful!

Hello,

The current formatting of your log makes it difficult to read, so in notepad:
On top, click Format >uncheck Word Wrap

Then, I see you are running Teatimer.
I suggest you to disable it because it can interfere with the changes you'll make on your system.
When everything is done and your log is clean again, you can enable it again.
If teatimer gives you a warning afterwards that some changes were made, allow this instead of blocking it.
How to disable TeaTimer during HijackThis Cleanup
Then, Download ResetTeaTimer.bat.
Double click ResetTeaTimer.bat to remove all entries set by TeaTimer.

After you disabled teatimer, * Download Combofix to your desktop.
Doubleclick combofix.exe
Follow the prompts.
Don't click on the window while the fix is running, because that will cause your system to hang.

When finished and after reboot (in case it asks to reboot), it should open a log, combofix.txt.
Post this log in your next reply together with a new hijackthislog.
Do NOT post the ComboFix-quarantined-files.txt - unless I ask you to.
