Looking for the outcome? Ask AI

Hi there :wavey: Basically , i was doing a test to check if i saved pictures to my PC and deleted them, would i be able to recover them easilly. I found a program called: 'recover my files' and it recovered many of them - which was not good for the test, because i wanted them to vanish forever when i deleted them. So i'm wondering if you can recommend me a program that completely removes all traces of things you've deleted from your PC? Thanks alot
Hi, and glad to see you back here on the forum.
To really make sure stuff is deleted I use a programme called Eraser, its free and available from here:

As you know if someone has unlimited resources in terms of software, time, hardware and expertise it is possible mostly for even "secure" tools such as this to be unravelled. However outside of the CIA, Mossad, the KGB (FSB) & MI5 and a few hunded million dollars your deleted data should be pretty safe!

thanks Paws :) good to be back. and thanks again, just the kinda tool i was looking for! By the way, i hope you don't think i've done something risky, it's genuinely just a matter of keeping my hard-disk clean
