Another one I'm looking at for a friend - I do need that Think Geek T-Shirt "no I will not fix your computer".

Anyway the machine is being VERY slow to start up, slow to access web sites and was throwing up pop up adverts when browsing with IE (The title or the ad windows was prefixed with CiD.

I've run SpyBot, and Adaware and removed a number of things they found, and used safe mode to delete some files like LITE LOAD.exe that Norton complained about but couldn't handle. Below is the log from HiJack This after my first pass fixes.

Any help gratefully received. Thanks

Reboot and "copy/paste" a new HijackThis log file into this thread.

Also please describe how your computer behaves at the moment.
The log is below.

It's still a bit slow at start up - but I'm used to my machine. This all round are 'snappier' and moving from one web page to another is noticably much faster.
