Downloader.psyme.fc

I use AVG anti-virus/spyware. Unless I disable the Resident Shield, I am unable to use Internet Explorer. I have contacted AVG and they have informed me that my computer is infected by "Downloader.Psyme.fc". This virus apparently exploits vulnerability in MS Internet Explorer to launch other Trojan programs on the infected machine. AVG have made numerous suggestions which I have tried … including downloading new IE and new AVG, but none of this has helped. When I run AVG the threats are located and either put in the vault or healed. But within minutes the problem recurs. Annoyances.com have suggested I contact you. Any help getting rid of this virus/malware would be appreciated. dotcomma

With the amount of infected computers there is not enough helpers to have 2 different people and 2 different forums help you with the same issue.
