[steeley1]

Around Christmas I was runing AVG for my mother on her seldom used laptop. It showed trojan JS/Psyme but did not remove it. Since it is seldom used by her it was forgotten about for a while. I am now trying to get rid of this thing and have been researching the web for help. Am very new to Hijackthis and to posting. Hope someone out there can help....Thanks!

After seeing these results I remembered another website I visited - SpywareInfo.com - the laptop already has Lavasoft Ad-Aware on it, so I followed the next steps and downloaded and ran Spybot-Search and Destroy and Ewido anti-spyware which I can post if you need. I 'fixed' any problems that resulted. However after doing this I ran AVG again and it still shows a 'threat'. Thank you again for your assistance.

Well, I ran the ATF Cleaner, then another HijackThis log. Then for good measure ran the AVG and Windows Defender and everything is clean and good! No threats found! Yea! I'm posting the log for you to see, but I think it's fine now. But please let me know if you see anything bad. Thank you so much!
