Do you know where I'll find the ALCMTR.EXE file to delete please?

I've done a search and found it in 3 locations -

c:\windows
c:\programm files\Realtek\Installshield
c:\TOOLSCD\Sound Driver\wdm

Filename Description
ALCMTR.EXE Realtek AC97 Audio - Event Monitor. "Sypware" file used surreptitiously monitor one's actions. It is not a sinister one, like remote control programs, but it is being used by Realtek to gather data about customers

If you delete it from: c:\windows
That should do it.
All sorted now! :-) As clean, as clean can be, lets just hope she keeps it like that! (fingers crossed) Many thanks once again for all your help and time, it's been very much appreciated! Cheers, Happy.
