I actually experienced for like 1 year already and felt quite annoyed now. Whenever I switch on the computer each day, I need to restart again for the computer to load better. If not, the computer will "Auto" restart Anytime, which is so annoying. Okay, around last year, I installed a software and tried it. It did worked for awhile, then the comp restarted. After it restarted, i tried the software again. This time the program didn't run and Automatically restarts my comp. I uninstalled the software. The next day, that is when my comp started auto restarting. I already reformatted my computer for like 10 times last year and this thing doesn't go off. Please help me!
If the "auto-restarting" problem has continued through 10 re-format/re-installs of the operating system, you problem is more likely Hardware related or related to a device conflict, or possibly a conflict with a third-party software that you've installed each time you reformatted/reinstalled. Turn off Auto-Restart, so you get the BSOD instead. That BlueScreen will give you an Error Code and details about the problem. Copy down "exactly" the full Error Code information and post it back here into this thread. How to turn off Auto Restart: Go to Start/Control Panel/System/Advanced/Startup&Recovery(Settings). In the System Failure section, deselect the Automatically Restart check box, and click OK. This change configures the system to halt after encountering a system failure error, which allows you to investigate the problem error in more detail. You will then have to manually restart the system. After you get your problem resolved, you can reverse the above procedure in the System Properties dialog box. _________ Another good source for information about persistent Error Problems is Event Viewer: Control Panel - Administrative Tool - Event Viewer You'll see three locations to view: Application, Security, System Scroll through them all. You will find time-stamped entries of function and errors (most important are the ones in Red Font). Investigate Errors that appear in Event Viewer at or around the exact time that you have the System Failure. Posting back the Error type and the BSOD Error message with help us help you. Best Regards
