i am working on a freinds computer that seems to have some major issues
1. in the task bar is a red ball with a yellow exclamation point when i mouce over it it says computer is infected click to fix issue if i do it wants to hook to the internet.

2. if i run antivirus or addware spyware tools when done scaning and try to remove items it finds
the computer needs to be shut down and it dosent remove anything

3. when computer hooks to the internet connection takes over and cant even use the browses as it seems froze

4. dial up window pops up all on it own every few mins

Hello and welcome to the forum. Sorry about the delay in responding :( If you still need help, Scan again with HijackThis, and copy/paste" a new log file into this thread. Also please describe how your computer behaves at the moment.
