IP & MAC Address

Hi folks have just tried to get the subject information by typing ipconfig / all in the run box and all I get is a quick flash of the cmd box. Anybody any idea why this should be?? I am running windows XP home edition with SP2 on a 3GHz Intel computer with zone alarm firewall and AVG anti virus if that helps, Thanks for any help, bryce

Did you try to run it from the cmd box?

Try this: click Start> Run> type in CMD tap enter.

Now try it at the command prompt.

When you're finished, type in exit tap enter

Thanks that worked fine, I thought that the run box was a direct link to the command box , silly me!!
