OK master14,
Yes, from the last Smitfraud log you just posted it appears you had already run it. You just never gave me the log so I wasn't sure.
How are things running now? You had asked me earlier if you would need to do the same thing if you were infected again. It depends on what the infection is. The key is (and this is not always easy) is to not get infected again.
One thing you didn't address from my last post was running multiple Anti-Virus programs. Have you taken care of that or do you need more explanation?
Post a fresh HJT log and we can check one more time to make sure you're clean.
Regards,
Dave
Hello Dave, yea im still having a little trouble trying to just make it Just run one program without uninstalling it from my system. I have Trend Micro and Macfee. Should i just unistall one or is there a better way. I'm not sure if i still have the CD Programs for either one to reinstall it. if you could help me with that one.

Hello master14,
I still see
3 AV's running in your HJT log, not 2:
AVG
McAfee
Trendmicro
AVG is free and can be downloaded at any time. The other 2 are likely purchased. Due to the fact that these programs integrate so tightly into your OS the best way is to completely uninstall 2 of them. If you go with McAfee or Trendmicro I would find out how much you time you have left for updating them. I would then stick with the one that has the most time left.
The other thing I see is you have New.Net installed.
Although NewDotNet does not claim to be spyware, it has been associated with computer instability in certain situations. Both SaveNow and NewDotNet have been linked for computer instability according to the MS Knowledge Base Article 302463.
For more information, please see the following:
Description of NewDotNet from the doxdesk parasite database
What is SaveNow and/or New.Net?
Foistware: New Net, Inc. (NewDotNet) DLL
I recommend that you remove
NewDotNet unless you deliberately installed it.
To uninstall the
New.Net or NewDotNet :
Click Start , point to Settings , and then click Control Panel . In Control Panel , double-click Add or Remove Programs. In Add or Remove Programs , highlight New.Net or NewDotNet , click Remove . If you have any questions let me know. Post a fresh HJT log after making your choices here to make sure everything is OK.
Dave

OK great. You've decided to go with TrendMicro and got rid of New.Net.
Your log looks good. How are things running now?
Works Great. I think it even got a little faster like you said. thanks for the help. Chuuch
Great
To help prevent future re-infection I recommend the following:
Visit Microsoft's Windows Update Site Frequently - It is important that you visit http://www.windowsupdate.com regularly or set your computer to receive automatic updates. This will ensure your computer has always the latest security updates available installed on your computer. If there are new updates to install, install them immediately, reboot your computer, and revisit the site until there are no more critical updates.
Install Spybot - Search and Destroy -
Spybot: Search And Destroy with its TeaTimer option. This will provide realtime spyware & hijacker protection on your computer alongside your virus protection. You should also scan your computer with program on a regular basis just as you would an antivirus software.
A tutorial on installing & using this product can be found here:
Using Spybot - Search & Destroy to remove Spyware , Malware, and Hijackers
Install Ad-Aware -
Ad-Aware SE You should also scan your computer with program on a regular basis just as you would an antivirus software in conjunction with Spybot.
A tutorial on installing & using this product can be found here:
Using Ad-aware to remove Spyware, Malware, & Hijackers from Your Computer
Install SpywareBlaster - SpywareBlaster will added a large list of programs and sites into your Internet Explorer settings that will protect you from running and downloading known malicious programs.
