Hi,
I posted before and I got no replies at all. I am new to forums I have never used one before so maybe I posted wrong I don't know. The problem got better for awhile and then worse again. My computer is running slow again. Internet explorer takes awhile to open. and things are kind of twitchy. I need help.
Here is the log from two days ago. Please help. Thank you

Remove spybot from add and remove programs Norton doesn't play well.

Delete the folder after that .

Some of these files my have hidden atributes.
Click Here Should you need instructions for Showing hidden files and folders in Windows.
Once in safe mode, Click start / then my computer / local disk then follow the process tree.

C:\Program Files\Spybot - Search & Destroy

Then if you want to speed up your PC get a new anti-virus.

Rescan with HJT and post a new log here.
Also please describe how your computer behaves at the moment.
Thanks so much for your help. I didn't know if I was doing this right. Heres the latest. Since I didn't hear from anyone I put my log in to be analyzed at this site http://hjt.networktechs.com/parse.php and it told me that the ctfmon.exe should be removed along with a couple other things (which I cannot recall). I did but I noticed it kept loading as a process. I looked it up on the net and was told how I could disable (make it not available) by microsoft. I did this and it made my computer waaaaaay better. faster then its been in quite awhile but still not as good as it should be. Then I got your reply and this morning removed Search & Destroy, deleted the folder, and got a warning about uninstalling it concerning changes it made and being able to undo backups (I saved the folder on my backup external drive just in case). My computer then slowed quite a bit. Its still better then it was but I would like to get it in top shape. After I noticed it had slowed down again I checked my processes and found something called LuCallbackProxie.exe loading multiple times (3 or 4). I checked this out also and found out it was associated with Norton Live Update but could also be disguised spyware or somekind of problem. That is the latest. I really appreciate your help. Here is my latest log. I just ran it now. Thanks.

You will need to disable SpySweeper until we are done.
To do this open SpySweeper click >Options over to the left then >program options >Uncheck "load at windows startup".
Over to the left click "shields" and uncheck all there.
Uncheck "home page shield".
Uncheck 'automaticly restore default without notifiction".

Close all programs leaving only HijackThis running. Place a check against each of the following, making sure you get them all and not any others by mistake:

O16 - DPF: {B1E2B96C-12FE-45E2-BEF1-44A219113CDD} -

Click on Fix Checked when finished and exit HijackThis.

Also looks like you will need to reinstall Norton
Instructions can be found here http://basconotw.mvps.org/SymRem.htm
Thanks again. I'm a bit confused. Your reply says "Place a check against each of the following, making sure you get them all and not any others by mistake: O16 - DPF: {B1E2B96C-12FE-45E2-BEF1-44A219113CDD} -". You said "each of the following, making sure you get them all" as if its plural and list only one item "O16 - DPF: {B1E2B96C-12FE-45E2-BEF1-44A219113CDD} -". Did you intend to list more items? Is this a mistake? Are there more items? If there are more, please with the new list, also tell me how many items there are, so I know that nothing got lost in the translation. Also is my Norton compromised? Is it still working? I am in the middle of a big project for work and I am wondering if I can wait a bit before reinstalling till I finish this work I'm doing. Tell me what is best and I will do whatever you say. Thanks again your a lifesaver.

You said "each of the following, making sure you get them all" as if its plural

My mistake

Also is my Norton compromised? No but it looks like it has a bug in it. I would reinstall it when you have the time.
