You can now delete these tools Killbox and SmitFraudFix and its folder it is of no longer any use. It updates so frequently that new version are released to remove new malware that comes out. So if used again a fresh copy will have to downloaded any way no need to keep.
I recommend removing CleanUp has cause some problems in past not sure if it has been corrected. And X-CleanerAlso I think I have way too much spyware and registry-cleaning software installed, I'd be grateful if you could point out the ones I dont need:
Spyware programs: Spyware Doctor, Spybot S&D, Windows Defender, AVG Anti-Spyware, Ad-Aware
Cleaning tools: Tune Up Utilities, CCleaner, CleanUp, Registry Cleaner, X-Cleaner
I also still have Smitfraud, Killbox…I'm guessing I should keep these two in case I need to use these forums in the future?
Ccleaner does a fine job in cleaning.
Using Registry Cleaners is your choice but if not careful can remove legit entries.
Tune Up Utilities this I have not used you can check reveiws from googling to see if problems have been reported.
The rest look fine.
Here are some very good sites that maybe able to help you with your other problems I am only trained in malware removal sorry I don't the answer to what is causing that. They will be able to help.
