Certainly sounds like W32.Blaster.Worm. Symantec has a removal tool for this here:

Try that and let us know how you make out.

Hi paulelie,
This is not Norton Antivirus or a permanent program that you need to install. I agree and do not like Norton/Symantec software myself. But Symantec does offer free special tools for cases like this that are effective. It is entirely up to you. If you would like to try another solution let me know.

Also, is it possible to get a HJT log off your system before it crashes? If so you could post that also.
