Hi MickHenny,

Do you use microsoft office project 2003.
For more information about what it is, you can visit the Microsoft site:
http://office.micros...0857951033.aspx

If you don't want microsoft office project 2003 to start activating automatically, you may be able to "disable" automatic start at boot, by going to:

Start - Run - MSCONFIG - StartUp(tab)
Visually scroll through the various applications and processes listed.
You can safely "uncheck" any of those items.
You may even have other applications and processes that you don't often use, but which are consuming resources and thereby slowing your machine.

The only items to Leave Running Active are your Firewall and AntiVirus.

Please keep us posted with your progress.

Best Regards

If you downloaded and installed the Trial Version of microsoft office project 2003, you may now have an "expired" trial version, and the restarts may have something to do with prompting you to buy the full Microsoft licensed version.
If you do not want this application on your machine, you will probably find it in Control Panel - Add/Remove and can probably uninstall it from there.
