Oh my. I've been at this now for 3 days. Can anyone help. I've run Mcafee from DOS and Stinger. No luck. I still seem to be having issues. I'm on XP. I went out and bought Mcafee Security Plus. No luck. They referred me to the Tomcoyote website. I hope someone can help. Anyway I've installed and run Hijacker and here is a copy of my log: Most of it is greek to me so if anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it.

This program is for XP and Windows 2000 only

Don't run it yet.

CLOSE ALL WINDOWS (even this one) AND PROGRAMS!!!!
Run Hijack This!
Click "Do a systen scan only".
Then "check" the box to the left of these item(s):

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [WinMedia] C:\DOCUME~1\Jason\LOCALS~1\Temp\3E3584.exe

O20 - Winlogon Notify: winsys2freg - C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Settings\winsys2f.dll

O21 - SSODL: iZPJYLzxG - {FCF66849-565C-C2E3-5AB8-1DE2C81136F6} - (no file)

O23 - Service: Microsoft ASPI Manager (aspi113210) - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\system32\aspi785910.exe

Then click "Fix checked".

Now, please go to:

Start –> Run

In the box type in services.msc then hit (or click OK)

In the Name column in the next screen look for:

Microsoft ASPI Manager

it.

In the dialogue box that pops up, check in the Path to executable box.

It should say: C:\WINDOWS\system32\aspi785910.exe

That's how to be sure you have the right one.

Now, click Stop to stop that rogue process.

In the Startup type box, change it to Disabled.

Click Apply then OK

Close the services.msc window.

Reboot in "safe" mode.

Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Under Main choose: Select All.
Click the Empty Selected button.
Close the program.

Find and delete:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Settings\winsys2f.dll <— file

C:\WINDOWS\system32\aspi785910.exe <— file

Some malware files may be "hidden".
Be sure to show hidden files when looking for these file(s) and/or folder(s).

Reboot in normal mode and "copy/paste" a new log file into this thread. :)

Hello,
I ran Spyware Doctor and now none of the file you mentioned appear. I am still having issues though. Here is the latest log file. Thank you.

CLOSE ALL WINDOWS (even this one) AND PROGRAMS!!!!

Run Hijack This!
Click "Do a systen scan only".
Then "check" the box to the left of these item(s):

O21 - SSODL: iZPJYLzxG - {FCF66849-565C-C2E3-5AB8-1DE2C81136F6} - (no file)

Then click "Fix checked" and close Hijack This!.

The log looks pretty clean.

What problems are you having?

Also I am getting the notice inside of msconfig that says "An Access Denied error was returned while attempting to change a service. you may need to log on using an Administrator account to make the spcified changes. I am the administrator though. Of course, today, my computer has just been crashing and rebooting every couple of minutes.
