Per the instructions provided in another forum here are my logs. BTW…Ewido is now AVG and when I clicked on the link in the instructions that is where it took me.

When I ran AVG in safe mode, around 500,00+ files into the scan the pc went REALLY wacko! Worse than ever. It was scanning System Volume Information-restore something or other. Is it possible my scans reveal nothing because the malware is hidden in a file archived on the pc under a previous restore point? I disabled system restore to delete all previous restore points, then re-enabled it. Another long shot to fix this bug.

Everything looks good to me (but what do I know?!) Off to fix my freezing mouse issue. Thanks for any help in advance!

Kathleen
OK, removing previous restore points did not stop the problem. It happened again several times last night, so I have my answer to that question. I tried two other anti-trojans and the scans came up blank. Thanks Again, whoever looks at this. Kathleen
