Hi guys. I was talking to a guy in work who just had his computer fixed. the guy who fixed his computer said that it is better to run mozilla firefox than internet explorer. is this true, and should i be downloading it? Thanks in advance. Hombre

hi hombre,

many exploits are directed at IE simply because its the most popular browser and ships with windows. that dosnt mean you have to use it. IE also supports activeX which can install and run programs simply by visiting a website, malicious or otherwise. it is possible to make IE more secure. I like Firefox because its much more customizable and easier to configure to your liking. you can have/use both on your computer. another browser you might try is opera.
