I have a problem that is simular to one that was previously solved in this forum. When I start IE I get a screen that I do not want and can not make it go away. I tried to remove IE through Settings.Control Panel.Add/Remove Programs but I am unable to open the Add/Remove Pgm Window. I found an article posted some time ago (Subject: www.fastwebfinder.com dated 11/08/03) that covered a simular problem and attemped to download Hijack This. While trying to connect to "http://www.tomcoyote.org.htj" to do the download I am redirected to another site "http://www.mywebscarch.com/" I have been able to download Hijack This onto a floppy using another computer and have a copy of it in zip format. I would very much appreciate any help that you can give.

Hi g_dub,

Since you say you already have Hijackthis, follow these instructions on how to properly extract it: http://www.netstar.me.uk/hjt/hjt.html

Then post the results in a new topic in the Hijackthis forum here: http://forums.tomcoy...hp?showforum=27
