Background:
Think I installed toolbar888. Manually uninstalled a bunch of stuff from Add/Remove programs. Could not get rid of adstart by deleleting from regedit/hjt/spybot/a^2. Kept coming back. From taskmgr, everytime IE/Firefox is loaded an extra iexplorer.exe loads. then pops. Also smitfraud-c also comes back after spybot kills it. Adstart adds to Prefetch. Whenever I open c:\windows directory somethere else opens for a split second (a windows opens and closes in a flash). Since I couldn't post last night, I did a system restore from a couple of days ago.
