Alright so heres the deal, there is some file on my computer that is creating files in my temp driectory, I was able to delete some before and when I did they became trapped in my garbage bin, it wont allow me to empty them now, Also, when I just single click on them i get a popup from Bit Defender saying that the certain file is infected with "Trojan.Downloader.Agent.XXX". Ive tryed to use kill box to empty my temp, but doing that "reawakens" the dorment temp files and I get a bunch of popups saying that they are infected, then killbox stalls up and crashes… anyways ive run loads of programs and none so far have done much. Also I cant get into safe mode which is another problem, when I try i see a bunch of lines pass by, then it says "Press Esc to cancel loading SPTD.sys" and from there it just re-starts again… Anyways il be waiting, thx so much in advance for anyone who comes to the rescue…

edit: I forgot to mention that when I delete some temp files that DONT give me a problem (but im sure they are involved in the infection), they just come back, sometimes in a greater number…

Alright, well I went onto another board and got most things working fine now… DOnt know if anything remains, but my major problem is that I cannot get into safe mode :S. Im using a gateway pc which came with windows xp (home im guessing, not the pro version) Media Center installed. Theres a partision on the drive if that might make any difference… Other than that things seem to be ok. btw, I bough the computer refurbished and dont know what the serial number to reinstall windows is, because im thinking that might be the only way to get safe mode working again (not to mention that i cannot enable system reestore) .. any coments would be great, or ideas… or anything really. heres the log too:

Hello I'm responding on behalf of G-Silver. He ran the BootSafe.exe and now he can't access windows at all. Computer starts to load up and instantly reboots. Nothing in the boot menu makes the system run. Is there any way to disable Bootsafe from DOS (I know it's XP, but G-Silver want to know if he can use a dos boot disk to disable the program so that the computer starts in normal mode. Thanks in Advance. Edit: If it changes something in the boot.ini I can fix it as I have ERD Commander, I just don't know what to look for.
G-Silver needs to contact Microsoft to get his own copy of windows or go purchase a copy.
It needs a clean install of windows.

Here's where you can get a bootdisk if needed.

If you can make it to the C:>, I would look for the BootSafe.exe and delete it.
You can also try fixing the boot.ini.
HEY! , well changing the boot ini worked, im back in.. well I guess anything that will fix this would be to re-install windows. But im really busy with school work, so I cant bother to do that jsut yet, so hopefully i dont need system restore or safemode in the next while. Anyways thx a lot.
