MS Word not installing

Hi, I have new pc which was supplied with MS Works Suite 05 cds. When I install the package either fully or with only the bare Works and Word it appears to install correctly. However when I try to run Word I get message saying it`s not installed and to install it again. All other programmes installed with Works Suite are working fine. Does anyone have any ideas before I format the harddrive and reinstall everything back to factory settings?
