As per the topic "Before Posting A HijackThis Log", I've scanned with Spybot, AdAware and ewido.
And here is my HijackThis log:

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you ! :)
I want to check some things before beginning any cleaning operations.

Run Hijack This!.

Click on Open Misc Tools section

To the right of Generate Startuplist log, there are two boxes.

Check them both, then click Generate Startuplist log.

"Copy/paste" the startuplist log into this thread.
:)
Thanks for your reply, Micah_6:8 !

I missed these first time around….

I apologize.

CLOSE ALL WINDOWS (even this one) AND PROGRAMS!!!!

Run Hijack This!
Click "Do a systen scan only".
Then "check" the box to the left of these item(s):

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [zt] C:\Program Files\Intel\svhost32.exe

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [ms] C:\Program Files\Microsoft\svhost32.exe

Then click "Fix checked" and close Hijack This!.

Reboot in "safe" mode.

Delete all of the following noted (in red) file(s)/FOLDER(s) you can find:

C:\Program Files\Intel\svhost32.exe <— file

C:\Program Files\Microsoft\svhost32.exe <— file

Some malware files may be "hidden".
Be sure to show hidden files when looking for these file(s) and/or folder(s).

Reboot in normal mode and "copy/paste" a new HijackThis! log file into this thread. :)
No worries. :)

After rebooting in safe mode, I didn't manage to find any files in the "Intel" and "Microsoft" folders, even though the setting is at "show all hidden files". Thus I did not delete anything.

Here is the new Hijack This log:

Please go to these free online file checkers:

Kaspersky Online File Scanner

Jotti Online File Scanner

VirusTotal Online File Scanner

And submit this file for a virus scan:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\msime.exe

Let me know the results.

You don't have to try all three. If one scan says it's "infected", you can stop there.

If it is found to be infected, please follow the directions below:

Please download/unzip this:

Registry Search 2.0 by Bobbi Flekman © 2005

on regsearch.exe, and search for this:

msime.exe

[external image: Posted Image] Make sure ALL the boxes are checked under "Search".

It may take a while to run, so be patient. When finished, the search results will appear in your text editor,

Paste the contents of the search results into your next post.
:)
Okay done.
Kaspersky has found my msime.exe to be infected by Trojan-PSW.Win32.Lmir.awg

And here is the search results of the RegSearch:

Copy and paste the contents of the quote box below into notepad.

Save it as file name: "fixme.reg" (not including the quotes). Save as file type: *All files* and save it on your Desktop.

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\policies\Explorer\Run]

Then, locate fixme.reg on your desktop and it.

You will receive a prompt similar to: "Do you wish to merge the information into the registry?".

Answer 'Yes' and wait for a message to appear similar to "Merged Successfully".

Reboot.

Delete this file:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\msime.exe

Some malware files may be "hidden".
Be sure to show hidden files when looking for this file.

Reboot and "copy/paste" a new HijackThis! log file into this thread.

Unless something new has appeared, this should do it.

Only your next log will tell.

With my fingers crossed. :)
