My computer runs slow, seems to duplicate items, and wont let me run certain things. I have a million running processes in the background, and when i checked them with the answers that work website, it said a couple of them were worms, viruses etc. When I ran a virus check, it showed nothing. I have run the adaware, and the spyware programs. Please help me if I indeed need help.

Hi Kathy, Welcome back to TomCoyote forum. I see some adware and not much else. You do have items in your trusted zone that should not be there. I would not trust Music Match on my computer let alone in "Trusted Zone". We may have to use Safe Mode to remove those, but lets see what happens. I am also going to remove Downloaded Programs Files that I do not think you need. If I remove something you use you will be prompted to download a new cab file the next time you visit the website.

It loooks to me like HJT.exe needs a folder on your desktop. Point to a blank spot then RIGHT click and make a NEW FOLDER, call it HJT. Move the HJT.exe and any logs into that folder. Your backups for emergencies will be stored there also.

Scan with HijackThis and check the boxes in front of these line items:
