Hi, found your forums while searching for a fix for my little problem here.
Here's the story.Have a vundo virus that isnt showing up for Symantec, isnt showing up for their vundo fixer, but showed up for PC Doctor.PC Doctor won't remove them unless you purchase their program, so I still have the problem
I tried to run killbox and get rid of the two main problems, awwvt.dll and tvvwa.ini, both of which cant be deleted for one reason or another, and if they are, simply reappear in system32 again.Nothing is showing up in AdAware or Spybot except the stuff they're downloading. The only reason I know they are there is because a window pops up and immediately closes when I open new programs. Also, I get popup ads.
I read in the forums that renaming HJT would produce different results, and it did.I found 5 new services in the list, and took care of all but 2 of them.
Here's the logfile.

BHO and 020 are the two that bug me the most, since that's the exact DLL I can't delete for the life of me.
I'm sure I have one or two other trojans on here, but I havent been able to sniff their trail yet.
Any help is much appreciated, thanks! Running XP Pro btw, with Service Pack 2 installed.
CLOSE ALL WINDOWS (even this one) AND PROGRAMS!!!!
1. Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it.
2. Click the Scan for Vundo button.
3. Once it's done scanning, click the Remove Vundo button.
4. If it doesn't find anything, in the main program window, choose "Add more files?".
Type the next line in the box EXACTLY AS SHOWN:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\awvvt.dll
Click Close Window, then Remove Vundo.
5. You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click YES.
6. Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
7. When completed, it will prompt that it will shutdown your computer, click OK.
8. Turn your computer back on.
Post a new HijackThis! log, along with the contents of this file:

Just got back from class, so far it seems ok.The only real way I could tell before, was random popups when I'd open programs like Trillian, or browsing.I'll give it some time and post tonight after my final class and see how it's working.
Quick Edit, my windows time switched to Military time(which is really weird) would the virus have had anything to do with this, and how do I reset it to AM/PM?
So far I've had 0 popups, 0 windows that open and close for no reason, and my pc and internet connection seem alot more stable.
Thanks for all the help, Combofix was definately the key I was missing!
