Hello, I am not sure of this fact but when I went to open Outlook which I rarely ever do it was password blocked and to my knowledge I never did this! Just over night there were over 285 blocked attemps by ZoneAlarm. I posted my log in HJT forum and went through some of the fixes with this site but this was never brought up as I didn't realize it till yesterday! I recently reinstalled ZA as I had tryed Comodo firewall but did not like it! Since the reinstall which has been less than a month at best there have been over 10,000 blocked intrusions of which 58 where considered dangerous. Is there any way for me to get past the security of the password to open my Outlook and see what is in there and see if this is what has been eating up my memory as well as causing sytem shut downs! Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Dough I have completed my work as far as HJT! I am still experiencing problems which are most likely related to the shut downs! Here's to hoping I can learn some more on this operating system and be of some use to another person someday!! I downloaded Winpatrol and also took a look at ProcessExplorer. When I was perusing different files I found that I can open many things but the System Volume is one I can not get into to even look at! Maybe I'm not suposed too! I have been to quite a few site's and read some advice on regedit's for security issues in 2K and when I tryed to find the values behind the verbs in the exe. I can not open the tree(persistenthandler) is there???? When I downloaded a Zip utility for some reason it has attached itself to the Outlook quick launch button and even more freaky is the fact that now when I click My Computer it opens with in seconds as opposed to minutes! Also when I tryed some of the online AV scans it said the process couldn't be done as I needed explorer 5 or better??? The HJT log says I am running 6! When I got this prompt I then went to Windows and downloaded IE6 again but it says it can't load because of something else running! Not sure of what the heck to do! But could this be why I can't get into Outlook! Also it is now 10:00 am and since mid night Zone Alarm has stopped 285 intrusion attempts is this normal! Any help would be greatltly appreciated!
