OK, i have been having a problem with pop ups after supposably removing a virus?

It was in a file call SOPROC.

Don't really know what it is and now can't get rid of all of it.

It seems to have left behind some things.

After reading a few posts here, i downloaded the HijackThis file and did a scan. The SOPROC thingy showed up (along with a lot of other things i don't understand!) and now don't know what to do.

I think i'm supposed to paste it here, so will give it a go. ( I'm only a novice computer user and all this is really scary!)

Is there anything else that shouldn't be on my computer?

It's been running really slow for a while now.
It looks good.

It's been running really slow for a while now.

Try this:

Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune.
Download - ATF Cleaner»
This program is for XP and Windows 2000 only
Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Under Main choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.

Note: After running ATF Cleaner your PC will boot a little slower the first two or three times.

This is normal.

I see this in the log:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [BearShare] "C:\Program Files\BearShare\BearShare.exe" /pause

Although it is a legitimate "peer to peer" file sharing application, there have been some pretty nasty infections being spread that way recently…

Be afraid… Be very, VERY, afraid…

Thank you for choosing TomCoyote for your malware removal solutions.
