How can I delete web addresses. When I go to my history and do a search, several web pages appear that I want out of my history. I deleted the files, history, contents and tried going through the registry. What to do next?
It deleted the history, but not the webpages. Some say html at the end, i've been trying to get help on this for a while and nothing seems to work. Anymore suggestions anyone? :(

I have no clue other than what I've posted to clear your "history".

It works for me.

The HijackThis! log looks good.

If you want to remove the AOL items you don't need do this:

Fix these with HijackThis!:

O23 - Service: AOL Connectivity Service (AOL ACS) - America Online, Inc. - C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\AOL\ACS\acsd.exe

O23 - Service: WAN Miniport (ATW) Service (WANMiniportService) - America Online, Inc. - C:\WINDOWS\wanmpsvc.exe

Close HijackThis!

Go to:

Start –> Run

In the box type in services.msc then hit (or click OK)

In the Name column in the next screen look for:

AOL Connectivity Service

it.

In the dialogue box that pops up, check in the Path to executable box.

It should say: C:\PROGRAM FILES\COMMON FILES\AOL\ACS\acsd.exe

That's how to be sure you have the right one.

Now, click Stop to stop that process.

In the Startup type box, change it to Disabled.

Click Apply then OK

In the Name column look for:

WAN Miniport (ATW) Service

it.

In the dialogue box that pops up, check in the Path to executable box.

It should say: C:\WINDOWS\wanmpsvc.exe

That's how to be sure you have the right one.

Now, click Stop to stop that process.

In the Startup type box, change it to Disabled.

Click Apply then OK

Close the services.msc window.

Reboot.

I wish I could do more.

Thank you for choosing TomCoyote for your malware removal solutions.
