slow internet connection, mouse cursor moves on its own

Hi, I uninstalled AVG free and the problems are persistent. Should I also uninstall Ewido? These problems started before either program was installed, and are persistent with one, the other, or both programs running. Any other suggestions? Thanks again for all of your help. I really appreciate it.

Lets try this…..

This may take 15 minutes or so and you wont get any dialog back if it replaced a file or not, it will just close when done.
Click Start>Run, type in sfc /scannow, hit Enter.
Note: there is a space between sfc and /scannow
This should replace any corrupted/missing system files and will hopefully fix things. You may need your XP disc in your CD drive for this.


Post a new HJT log and let me go over it again to see if something was missed.
