Hello . I have a few problems, let me start i downloaded boxing and UFC events on LimeWire and i downloaded a file that was labbled Ufc 55 56 and 57 but when i opend it my comp froze and loads of things started loading and i got loads of pop ups . Now i have new icons appearing on my desk top some weather thing that tell's me the weather i cant seem to delete also some memo diary thing also things appearing in my add and remove programs i dont know what to delete incase i break the comp now it is the family computer and im going to get in bad $hit . Not to mention the pop ups slow computer and internet running . I downloaded Panda somthing on the advice of some other forum it found loads of viruses and disinfected them but the hundreds of spywear and adwear it found it wont delete them Please can some one help me thanks alot i appreciate it

Hello and welcome to the forum.

Download Brute Force Uninstaller.
Unzip it to a folder of it’s own (c:\BFU).
Read here how to unzip/extract properly:

Start the Brute Force Uninstaller by doubleclicking BFU.exe

Next to the 'scriptfile to execute'-window you'll see a little icon as shown in next picture:
When you click that icon, a little window will open that says: 'Please enter the full URL to the sript you want to execute'
In the field, copy and paste next URL:

http://metallica.geekstogo.com/p2pnetwork.bfu

Click Ok
Then click execute in Brute Force Uninstaller.

Wait for the complete script execution box to popup and press OK.
Press exit to terminate the BFU program.

Post back to this topic using the add reply button with a fresh HijackThis log.

Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune.
Download - ATF Cleaner»

Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Under Main choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.


(If you use FireFox or the Opera browser
To keep saved passwords, click No at the prompt.)

• Reboot your computer into SafeMode. You can do this by restarting
  your computer and continually tapping the F8 key until a menu appears.
  
  Use your up arrow key to highlight SafeMode then hit enter.
  IMPORTANT: Do not open any other windows or
  programs while ewido is scanning, it may interfere with the scanning proccess:
• Lauch ewido-anti-spyware by double-clicking the icon on your desktop.
• Select the "Scanner" icon at the top and then the "Scan" tab
  then click on "Complete System Scan".
• ewido will now begin the scanning process, be patient this may take a little
  time.
  Once the scan is complete do the following:
• If you have any infections you will prompted, then select "Apply all
  actions"
• Next select the "Reports" icon at the top.
• Select the "Save report as" button in the lower left hand of the
  screen and save it to a text file on your system (make sure to remember where
  you saved that file, this is important).
• Close ewido and reboot your system back into Normal Mode and post the
  results of the ewido report scan. Along with a new HijackThis log.
