Go here and run the online scan, allow it to delete whatever it finds:

Panda ActiveScan

Once you are on the Panda site click the Scan your PC button
[*]A new window will open…click the Check Now button

[*]Enter your Country

[*]Enter your State/Province

[*]Enter your e-mail address and click send

[*]Select either Home User or Company

[*]Click the big Scan Now button

[*]If it wants to install an ActiveX component allow it

[*]It will start downloading the files it requires for the scan (Note: It may take a couple of minutes)

[*]When download is complete, click on Local Disks to start the scan

[*]When the scan completes, if anything malicious is detected, click the See Report button, then Save Report and save it to a convenient location.

Note any thing that can't be fixed

Reboot when done and post the report.
Panda only reported one problem and it couldn't be fixed. But it's part of smitrem so I assume it's nothing to be concerned about. I have had no further pop-ups or problems reported from MacAffee and everything appears to be running smoothly. Here's the Panda report Incident Status Location Potentially unwanted tool:Application/Processor Not disinfected C:\Documents and Settings\User\Desktop\smitRem\Process.exe
Good Job

You can remove Smitfraud.

Log looks good :D

You need to create a new Clean restore point.

Note: This will remove all previous Restore Points

Turn off System Restore:

On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
Check Turn off System Restore.
Click Apply, and then click OK.

Restart your computer, turn it back on.

On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
Remove the Check Turn off System Restore.
Click Apply, and then click OK.

Double-click My Computer.
Click the Tools menu, and then click Folder Options.
Click the View tab.
Check "Hide file extensions for known file types."
Under the "Hidden files" folder, Uncheck "Show hidden files and folders."
Check "Hide protected operating system files."
Click Apply, and then click OK.

If you dont have these programs I would recommend that you get them. Spywareblaster, Spywareguard. They will add 1000's of sites to your resticted zone and block some hijacks from happening. I also have a FREE FIREWALL and FREE ANTI VIRUS if you need one.

It is critical to have both a firewall and anti virus to protect your system.

Keep your system up to date and run Adaware & Spybot, once a week works, and hopefully you will be ok from here on. Both are available below.

Safe Surfing. :D

I would also suggest you read this:
