[gorm00]

I read thru the posts regarding the Home Page re-directing/changing to www.search-content.com. I think my problem is related to that site, but a different problem.

I'm running Webroot Spy Sweeper and just ran both Ad-Aware V1.06 and Spybot.
My Browser is the IE 7 beta which I recently installed. Before these problems occured.
I'm getting what appears to be a pair of Blank Popups -
1. A blank popup white window with ULWindowSeek on the title and
2. A second popup window with ULWindowUrl on the title right on top and adjacent to the first window and a message "You can help SearchControl Project by installing some software Mediatickets, Yazzle, MaXDial, Sexy Football Babes & Download Desktop" at the base of the window is a link "© www.Search--Control.com 2005./Support"

Can anyone please suggest to me what I should do ? Thank you.

Please download the trial version of Ewido Security Suite here:

http://www.ewido.net/en/

Install it, and update the definitions to the newest files.

Next, please reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following:
1) Restart your computer
2) After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, press F8.
3) Instead of Windows loading as normal, a menu should appear
4) Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode.

Then please run Ewido, and run a full scan. Allow it to clean what it finds.

Save the logfile from the scan.

Download ATF Cleaner:

Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Under Main choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.

When done a prompt appears informing of such.

(If you use FireFox or the Opera browser
To keep saved passwords, click No at the prompt.)

Restart your computer in normal mode and please post a new HijackThis log, as well as the log from the Ewido scan.
