hi, got the same or a similar problem as angela on december 7 last, had a spyware warning on the desktop i couldn't get rid of completely - it's now a white square on the top left corner of my desktop with the following file name (or web address, i have no idea): file:///C:/WINDOWS/warnhp.html
i downloaded HiJackThis and ran the scan but am stuck now as i don't know what to do with it.. help, please!!

Hello Steffen and welcome to TomCoyote forum. Your HJT log looks clean, is this the only issue you have? I found this link with the same problem with Google:

Go to your desktop and right click. Select properties, click the desktop tab, click customize desktop near the bottom, select the web tab. In the box "Web pages:" see if that warnhp address is there. If it is select it and delete it. That should fix your problem.

I do, however notice your Java program is outdated and that is a security risk that will get you infected fast. Use this information to get your self updated.
